OUR MISSION: to produce the finest family dogs,
including service, therapy, and 'special needs' companions. A great dog begins with careful breeding,
then is shaped by great owners.
All our lines are registered AKC insuring pedigree and good health
record-keeping wherein genetic authenticity of pedigree/lineage/health and even purity of genetics is verifiable. This
is not to say that a CKC dog is inferior, but CKC usually indicates a lack of verifiable pedigree for one reason or another.
Example: from 1980's through early 1990's, many GSD's suffered disease and horrible temperament issues
(sloped croup, dysplasia, dying early from disease, biting children, etc.) It was much easier to track unhealthy pedigree
with AKC than CKC. When fresh stock was brought in from Europe, the GSD made a wonderful comeback. All our
stock imports from Europe, is governed by the SV of Germany, the foremost authority in the world on GSD's. Our dogs are living
well into their teens.
We consistently offer the largest, healthiest, most beautiful GSD's,
Poodles, and Shepadoodles in North America. No hip or Elbow issues, IBD, Parvo, Myleopathy, or gastro-intestinal
issues. We agressively treat intestinal parasites until the pups are adopted and strongly encourage treatment post-aquisition
until 14 weeks of age.
There is a certain "look" a well-bred GSD, Poodle, and Shepadoodle has- it is called 'Breed
Standard". All our dogs meet the 'Breed Standards'. Whether you adopt from us or not, HOLD BREEDERS
TO A HIGH STANDARD so the Shepadoodle perserveres with the dignity it deserves and finds it's rightful place in

of all time-"Mr. Stubs". (son of Chewbaka and Napoleon). Stubs was placed a year ago at 15 months of age. Our
dogs are taught manners first. Total strangers always comment on "how well behaved" our dogs are. We have
specific training procedures that bring these qualities out in every litter. Dogs never forget those whom have loved and nurtured
them.

McCumberHaus has developed a "Signature"
style coat for our Shepadoodles: a thick, soft, flowing, glowing, garaceful coat with 'hints' of Chocolate and Red. We are the only producers of low-to-non
shedding F1 hybrids. We have bred a guarding nature that is non-threatening to children and family. Our
formula contradicts the theory that "Hybrid vigor" is somehow reduced or diminished. Believe
us when we say our Shepadoodles are hearty and active, but have calm nerves. Only McCumberHaus breeds to Military
specifications from which the true Shepadoodle Breed Standards are
established. Our years of research and experience in genetics have kept our dogs at the top for many years. Once
you meet a McCumberHaus dog, you will instantly see the difference!

sweet, and mellow. These dogs have great temperament. Very expressive eyes, softest coat you will ever touch. Zach has
succeeded in completing his preliminary training and has earned his Official Therapy Vest! Zachery is owned by Dr.
Synowski. We congratulate them both for their hard work.
(Below) "Billy" , an F1B, was only a pup when
he was separated from his new owners just minutes after arriving by plane to Toronto. Lost in rural Ontario for a week,
Billy found his way home across the wilderness of Canada. An 'incredible journey' just like the Disney film. A true testament
to our bloodlines, as our GSD's are Shutzhund Titled in field and tracking. They are raised at a high elevation,
which helps make them strong, hearty, and athletic, with keen instincts. Without the great genetic influences from Champion
AKC McCumberHaus stock, Billy may not have made it home.

Nelson was adopted and trained for service to a legally blind patriarch. He is one of many McCumberHaus dogs that have helped
our society through service and/or therapy work. We now have 'companion dogs' to alert for diabetic shock,
epilepsy, and plain old horrible allergies.
